Welcoming Gemma Sanders to the RMT Lake Country Team
We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team at RMT Lake Country, Gemma Sanders. Gemma is a highly skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who brings knowledge and experience to our practice. We are confident that her unique approach to massage therapy will significantly benefit our patients and enhance the range of services we offer.
Gemma graduated from Mohawk College in Ontario in 2019, earning a diploma in Therapeutic Massage Therapy. After passing her board exams in Ontario, she transferred her license to British Columbia, drawn by the allure of the west coast. Her decision to join us here at RMT Lake Country is a testament to her love for the region and her desire to serve its residents.
Gemma's approach to massage therapy is both holistic and targeted. She skillfully combines relaxation techniques with deeper methods to treat knots, fascial techniques, and stretching exercises to help patients achieve their treatment goals. Her work is driven by the desire to create peace in her client's lives, whether that peace comes in the form of freedom from pain, an increased sense of well-being, or simply the opportunity to experience a quiet setting and receive care.
One of the things that sets Gemma apart is her background in holistic nutrition. This has given her a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, and she brings these elements into her practice. She believes in the power of massage therapy to not only alleviate physical discomfort but also to promote overall wellness and balance.
When she's not at work, Gemma can often be found paddle-boarding, reading by the lake, practicing kundalini yoga, or discussing astrology. Her love for these activities reflects her holistic approach to health and wellness, and her commitment to maintaining balance in her own life.
We are excited to share that Gemma is currently accepting new patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin or continue their wellness journey with a skilled and compassionate RMT. Moreover, Gemma will be offering her services on Sundays, providing more flexibility for our patients to schedule their appointments.
At RMT Lake Country, we are located inside unit 4 in the former Medical Building at 9966 Pollard. Our entrance is the door to the Bare Skin Studio, the first door on the right when you enter the building. As RMTs, we can direct bill to most insurance providers in BC. Please check with your therapist prior to treatment to ensure they can direct bill to your insurance company.
